2026 Winner- Leading with Innovation at WA Regional Business
Magellan Power has been named winner of the Leading with Innovation Award at the 2026 #RCCIWA WA Regional Business Excellence Awards and it’s a recognition that means a great deal to us.
This award celebrates innovation that delivers real, measurable impact. At Magellan Power, that’s exactly what we strive for: engineering power systems that solve practical challenges in some of Western Australia’s toughest environments, from remote mine sites to regional communities where reliable power is essential.
Our award submission was anchored by our landmark project at Karijini Eco Retreat, which delivered standout results in its first three months:
- 92% renewable energy fraction
- 76,000 litres of diesel saved annually
- $185,000 in anticipated annual operating cost savings
- 182 tonnes of CO₂ emissions avoided each year
We’re proudly a WA business, built on local ingenuity. Much of our most meaningful work has been in service of regional and remote Western Australia and this award reflects that commitment.
