Government Incentives on the Horizon

Starting 1 July 2025, the WA Government will roll out the WA Residential Battery Scheme, supporting eligible households to adopt cleaner, more efficient energy storage.
Key Benefits of the Scheme:
Up to $5,000 in rebates for Synergy customers – $500 per kWh, up to 10kWh
Up to $7,500 in rebates for Horizon Power customers – $750 per kWh, up to 10kWh
Batteries larger than 10kWh, if included in the approved equipment list (TBC), may still qualify for the maximum rebate of $5,000 or $7,500
Up to $10,000 in no-interest loans to support battery adoption among low- and middle-income households
The Magellan Karri’s modular capacity and advanced safety features make it a strong contender for inclusion in the approved equipment list. Magellan Power will be submitting the Karri for consideration once scheme applications open.
