MCRI SPARES BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND

First designed in 1995, the Magellan MCRI Series battery charger was one of the first industrial “smart chargers” programmable for Lead Acid and Ni-Cad batteries. Extremely popular in mining and utilities due to its functionality and reliability, thousands of these “workhorses” were supplied to a large number of Australian and overseas projects from 1995 – 2005 until it was replaced by the state of the art MCRII, SMCRII and iMCRII chargers. Magellan Power ceased the manufacture of MCRI in 2005, but there are still a large number operating and providing valuable, reliable service in substations, power stations, refineries, oil platforms, airports, hospitals and warships. Magellan has carried spares for MCRI for the past 13 years, but now spares for this old hero are being reduced in numbers.

MCRI Spares

Magellan has been servicing MCRI customers and projects since discontinuation of the Series in 2005. Magellan still stocks a serviceable range of spares for MCRI, but these numbers are reducing and will not be replaced once stock has depleted.

Keeping your MCRI

The reliable “old hero” will continue to provide steadfast service, provided they are maintained. To keep your MCRI in top condition, spare boards are available, we will just need your charger serial number upon enquiry.

Current MCRII

Of course if you wish to upgrade or if you have a current model MCRII in need of preventative maintenance or spares please contact us at [email protected].
