Magellan designed and manufactured high power adjustable DC power supplies based on 12 pulse fully controlled thyristor rectification controlled by a micro processor based HMI.
This solution was designed to perform with ultimate reliability due to the rugged components used. The output voltage of this system is fully adjustable from 350-500VDC with <0.5% AC ripple.
Client Requirement
Our customer was facing issues with their existing DC power supply on site in terms of its static and dynamic voltage regulation, ripple, stability and transient feedthrough. Magellan was approached to design and manufacture finely adjustable, tight regulation, high power DC power supplies with very small ripple.
