Magellan designed and manufactured a 24kW 3-phase Underground EV Charging solution using the latest technology, EV charger, transformer, and air conditioning system.
The system features a sophisticated monitoring and communication system with a touchscreen HMI. The total footprint of the system is 1550W x 650D x 2000H mm. Forced-cooling was used to maximize the life and performance of the charger. It also features an emergency stop button and a 7-meter-long CCS2 connector for electric vehicles.
Customer Requirement
Our customer approached us to design and manufacture a 3-phase, 1000VAC input, 24kW EV Charger with forced cooling, with an IP 5X rating. The solution needed to be rugged and reliable.
